Go live and member update

Ahead of go-live on Monday, 1 December, we want to provide you with some early information and a reminder of go-live timings.

Go-live timings

The website (www.civilservicepensionscheme.org.uk), the Member Portal and the CSPS helpdesk will go live 12 noon on Monday 1 December. We expect all these channels to be busy following the black out period.

Annual Benefit Statement

Annual Benefit Statements (ABS) for the tax years 2022–2025 will not be available on the Member Portal from go live. We are working to make these available and will update employers and members as soon as they are available.

What members should know:

  • ABS for 2022–2025 cannot currently be viewed or downloaded online.
  • Members who need an ABS before they are available will be able to request one by using our Contact us form.

Guides and supporting information will also be available via the Member Toolkit to help you direct members to the right resources in relation to ABS.

Remedial Service Statement (RSS)

RSSs are being loaded as PDFs to the secure online Pension Portal. These will not all appear at the same time, as statements are being released in stages.

Key points for members:

  • Statements are being loaded in stages to the Member Portal
  • Members may want to register for the new Pension Portal to access their statement, if so, please direct them to the supporting guide and resources which will be available on the website
  • If a member requires a statement urgently, please advise the member to contact us, via our Contact us form, which can be found on our Contact us page of the website and within the Member Portal.

Supporting materials will be available through the Member Toolkit, which you can use to direct members to the right information in relation to RSS.

Retirement modeller

We are introducing a new retirement modeller in the Member Portal. This tool will help members plan for their future by exploring different retirement scenarios.

What you need to know:

  • The retirement modeller will be added soon but will not be part of the initial go live.
  • Members must re-register for the Member Portal to access it. Re-registration will require a personal email address, National Insurance number, date of birth and contact details for 2-Factor Authentication.

Supporting collateral will be available on the Member Toolkit, enabling you to signpost members to guidance and resources as they become available.

Thank you for helping us keep members informed.
