Thank you to those of you who took part in our online Data Validation workshops (held earlier this year in March and April). We have updated the slides  based on the feedback from yourselves, Cabinet Office and MyCSP.

During the sessions we looked at how the data within a Data Validation Report (DVR) will be processed. Key things to note are:

  • Each line of data in the DVR will include a field called 'Action Indicator’, the Action Indicator will ask how that line/data should be processed, with options to add/amend, confirm or delete
  • What was previously a warning may now be classified as an error
  • Each validation reference now includes a description, reason for change and whether it is an error or warning.

Please note: The above changes will take effect from June 2026 (six months post go-live) and further information and/or support will be provided along the way by the Interface Analysts.

For now, we recommend that you review the slides to consider

  • how the changes could impact you
  • if you need to inform others in your organisation
  • whether and when you need to begin making changes to your interface file set up.

Please be assured, when we go live, Interface Analysts will be on hand for support. If you have any queries, please send them via our online feedback form.
